VESSEL ARREST DHED - (Displacement Hull Entanglement Device)
The Vessel Arrest DHED is a ‘Rapid Deployment Propeller Entanglement System’ to discourage or disable ‘Displacement Hull vessels while underway. It slows or stops providing a safe interdiction to non-compliant vessels and provides valuable assessment time to the operational timeline.
Made from high strength fibers, the Vessel Arrest DHED can be quickly deployed whilst underway. Perfect for fishery protection, piracy, counter smuggling or counter terrorism, it wraps around a vessel's prop to disable maneuverability.
Vessel Arrest DHED has been tested successfully in government evaluation by UK/USA.
The DHED System is inservice internationally with many user groups.
